I appreciate the heads up on the... companion (not sequel?).
You put a lot of character revelations into a few words, and that's a good thing. I look forward to more of these characters. M

Ok, now I'm getting excited, but still confused... but not as much. Mostly. But still having fun :) M

I'm not sure what's going on here but I like it. *pleasantly confused* M

Interesting story: it's definitely not what it seems to be on the surface.
Despite the best efforts of the characters in the story, it is mostly a happy ending . . . except for a couple of characters whose opinion does not matter.
Well-written and enjoyable!

I've only read a few stories with Bulstrode in them. Most are very good, and there are some delightful plot lines that are possible.
It's hard to tell yet where this is going, but it seem to have a plot inside a plot. The writing is uniformly very good, and the author is effective at sharing the story, with an excellent mix of discourse and exposition.
Very enjoyable so far!

Interesting.. if it wasn't for the author's note, I wouldn't have picked up on it quite as quickly - probably not until closer to the end. Nice juxtaposition of the dream world with the action of the real world. Off to read the companion.
Thanks for posting.

Interesting-- is all this part of the Dreamweaver and the plan formed 'in his orderly mind', and will Harry realize this?
For the answer to these and other questions I will stay tuned.
Very good hook to this.

Very nice story. Not exactly a pairing I'd like to see. But you provide a nice story line with some interesting twists.
Kokopelli replied:
The point was established in the first chapter - nothing is as it seems - an impossible situation (like cold fusion) yet you get sucked into the illusion.
Or at least, that was what I was aiming at.

I take it the "younger one" was Draco.
Kokopelli replied:
Oh yes, and he gets his too.

Oh, I forgot the opening scene. With the Dreamweaver the whole thing with Millicent may not be real, right?
Kokopelli replied:
Indeed - some of it was real, but most was not.

Millicent?!? And the hero so easily shunted off out of the way? Odd premise, but well-written and enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this piece. So many times I feel that Millicent is overlooked. I really enjoyed how you portrayed her.

VERY well done. I was able to follow what was real & what wasn't pretty easily once the Dreamweaver woke up following the first dream. I did NOT guess that it was Millicent, though!

Nice work. If you'd drawn it out a little more
you could have really built up the tension!
