Excellent storytelling. This was an utter blast to read. Many thanks for the prompt updating and twisty plot!

Excellent end to a fine little tale.

Leave'em guessing.

Well, I do hope that you will continue after DH, as it's stories like this that expand on the Hary-verse a lot. I do wish that he and Millie would be able to do something ewith the dreams they had together, strange to think, as I'm just not much of a big Ginny fan, it'd be interesting to see what could happen with Harry and Millie years later.

Interesting story you have started to spin here. Too bad Book 6 wasn't just a bad dream.

This is a great start. I can't tell yet whether this is going to be a long story, or a short one (I can see it going either way at this point), but I know what I like, and I like this.

You left enough clues in this chappie to let me know what's going on, and even roughly when, but you weren't totally obscure, nor too obvious. Really well done, and I'm looking forward to finding out where you'll go next. (Does 'Gretel' start to let Harry know what's going on? Does Hermione manage to stage a quick rescue? Neither or both? In any case, you've gotten me very interested in knowing what comes next.)

Outstanding. Thanks for sharing.

Oh that was really nicely done. The cold scene from the beginning of the first chapter was the Dementors I take it?

Is this Gretal really Millicent? I take it that the bits about Ginny dying are true memories of Harry since he said them rather than her creating them during the dream. But if it is Millicent then how much of what she is revealing about herself is true? Her own allegiences are obviously not with Voldemort.

Again, very nicely done.

Hmm. "Gretel" (if that's her name, but I'm guessing it's really Cho or maybe Daphne or Tracey, whichever in that group turns out to be a half-blood or muggleborn) clearly isn't telling Snape + sychophant (Draco at a guess) everything. Harry definitely IS developing feelings, as opposed to "may be". As well as asking him about how AD died, which Snape clearly would not need to ask.

She's trying to help Hermione rescue Harry.

Now, the big question: What's Snape's ultimate goal? It's clear that he's leading Draco (and Gretel) to think he's after info on the Horcruxes. And if he's actually trying to become the next Dark Lord, that makes sense.

But, as you keep saying, nothing is as it appears. So my totally off the wall guess is that Snape legitimately rescued Harry and is doing this thing with the Dreamweaver to give Harry want he actually wants. A "normal life". He has to appear to chase down the Horcrux info to keep Draco (and any other minions he's holding in check) happy.

How's that for a wild theory? :)

Well, I take it Harry is in some type of coma, that Snape and Draco want/need some information that only Harry knows (for who I'm not sure yet, hope it's not old Voldi) That the dreamweaver really is Millicent and that she's working with Hermione to a)get Snape/Draco finally and b) wake Harry

Just a guess here......

Very good story, well written, I'm hooked.

Thanks for writing! This is good and----confusing! Is Millicent working for Snape? I am a little lost here. I'm sure you will shed a little light next chapter. pms

Thank you for presenting a new perspective. That is a pairing I never expected to see. And I like it. We all have to grow up sometime and sometimes you find a rose growing among the weeds. I like that last bit of your notes; It will become more and less clear! Thanks for writing. I look forward to more of this story. pms

Ok, so is Voldie really gone or not? I hope he is... I'm really not looking forward to the angst that will come if Harry wakes up and finds out that Voldie isn't gone...

Whoa. Some twisted stuff going on here. Layers on layers. I like it. I'm going to go ahead and assume that Severus's young partner is Draco, but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong somehow. This is a great story so far. You've got me hanging on the edge of my seat.

Ooh - nice trick getting the phone number as well as the horcrux information. This is unfolding well :)

For what ever reason, I read the second chapter first and then this part. Interesting. I am alwaya in the mood for something fluffy and WAFFy.

Good start, we'll see how it goes.

"Nothing is as it seems."

I have no idea where this is going.

But I like it.

O-kay...now just *why* is Millicent looking to *recruit* Harry for something? And more so, what does *Severus Snape* have to do with it? It sure sounds like Death Eaters...

Ah, a ray of hope at last! Good chapter, you're moving things right along.
