Thank you again. I don't have the imagination, energy or time to write fanfiction, but I appreciate those of you who do, and who have furnished me with, as Kipling says,

Thought in the early morning, solace in time of woes, 25 Peace in the hush of the twilight, balm ere my eyelids close, And the days are flecked with the cheery lightOf stories I read of Friendship, and Pleasure and Work and Fight.

Really enjoyed this and am glad for the outline you provided. While I would love to see it fleshed out, it scratched enough of the itch. Thanks for posting!

This is a good story

I admit I am not a fan of seeing the bible mention in the story

Hey John. :-)

I really, really liked this. Of course, as always happens, I wish for more, but I'm content with the outline you provided for the rest of the story.

I totally agree with you on the shipper thing, and what I think (know) sets this story apart from most other "canon compliant", H-Hr, post-epilogue fics is that you didn't feel the need to bash H-G or R-Hr to get Harry and Hermione to the point where they'd be together. While the circumstances of their widow(er)-hood isn't exactly natural, the coming together is.

This reminds me a lot, in a way, of how my grandparents married. :-) My mother's parents were best friends with another couple. My grandmother passed away right around the same time my grandfather's best friend passed away. A few years later, my grandfather and my grandmother's best friend married. I was about 2 at the time, so I grew up considering her to be my grandmother.

I think the only problem I had with this was the amount of time Hermione spent disguised. I get why she needed to, but I'd also thing Harry would be able to arrange for a few dates where she could let the charm drop and be herself.

Everything else, though, was beautiful. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Dude, I will say this. H-H H-G hell hook harry up with a damn mountain troll for all i care. You are a damn good writer and i enjoy your stories. DON'T let people get you down cause they can't think outside their pitiful little boxes. Do what makes you happy man. Although to be honest the idea of a Harry and a mountain troll is a bit scary, just so ya know.

Thank you, John! It's been lovely to read something from your hand again (though I imagine I've read this before). And very likely. If the unthinkable should happen, and Harry and Hermione both ended up as single, I do think they'd find together as romantic partners.

Hope you're doing well, and that one day the need to tell us a story becomes so strong that we'll see an update from you again. Blessings!
