The scenes with Harry, Luna and Ginny is one of the most heartrendering I have ever read. I envy you your talent, but I will enjoy it every chance I get.

Thanks
Kyle

Harry needs to get a clue. He's had Hermione and Gabrielle alone in a tent and done nothing :|

:P

Great start. And I'm not just saying that because you're reviewing my work at this time. As I told you in an email, I hadn't read any of your work so far. This seemed like a good place (and a good time) to start.

I look forward to the rest of it... which I'm going to read right now.

The 'visit' with Ginny did to me just what you thought it might.

We do get wrapped up in our heroes and heroines, don't we?

Compelling start.

Oh, thank *God*, more Harry/Gabrielle. And wonderful H/G/L interaction on the other side. I've often wondered how to do that second bit properly, but I won't have to wonder any longer.

Nice... the dream served as a nice bit of catharsis, which makes any changes in Harry's habits much more believable.

If Harry was alone as much as it sounded like lately, I didn't expect him to be so articulate at first... or did the dream sort of "knock the rust" off those gears as well?

This is a nice start ... no, not "nice" ... "nice" is really too bland to mean anything at all. Let me try that again. Great start! I do look forward to what happens next. Is Hermione really in her mind, or was that a trick, or was she discharged with damage still present, but able to function on her own? How will Harry get past his love with Ginny, if Ginny keeps showing up? Is Gabrielle just trying to get into Harry's pants, or is she looking for more?

I hope we'll find out soon. AND that we'll get another chapter from SfSY soonest!

Kokopelli replied:

Gabrielle would LOVE to get into Harry's pants, but no, that's not what's driving this bus.

I like this. It's not your typical after the war story where everybody live happily ever after. I like the tone and the pace of the story.

Nice. *So* pleased you have Hermione recovered; "she's in her right mind again", great sentence, as was Harry's reaction. I'm hoping to see a great big reunion between the two of them and the Trio, huge hugs all 'round.

I'd asked about apparation as a means to rescue Gabrielle on your blog; I see you had that covered at the end of the chapter.

Looking forward to more, of course!

Kokopelli replied:

You see raw drafts on my LJ - I'd planned all of this from the beginning, but I just hadn't written it yet.   I'm about three pages into the next section.

an excellent piece of work, somehow the trio of Harry, Hermione and Gabrielle seems to fit very nicely together.

Thanks so much for sharing - it is nice to see some new work, I have very much enjoyed all of your stories so far.

warm regards

Ok... The Song of Roland... Hmmm. Right... Sure they did. Anyway, it's a nice start. There are a lot of HP pairings I like and HPGD is one I see too seldom. You've got a good thing going and I'm eager to see where it goes. Keep up the, as always, great work.

This is bitter, and sweet. I like your Gabby - she rocks! :-)

The dream visit was quite nice...I like the "forks of time" explanation

I do hope to see Hermione; I like her character, and I think seeing it develop into an adult character instead of a somewhat bossy, brilliant but insecure schoolgirl is one of the best things about fanfic.

As always, reading things you write is ALWAYS worth my time.

Cheers,

Cassie P

I love this! Glad to hear from you again. Harry/Gabrielle is one of the non-H/G ships I like for Harry. This sounds like a bit of fun and I can't wait to read more.

Dear Kokopelli, Thanks for writing. I really enjoy all the things all of you write. I think I've read almost everything on this web site now waiting for all of you to update your "big" stories. This is a cool story line in itself. It makes sense that Harry would leave if so many of his friends were hurt or dead. He would be kicking himself for not killing Moldishorts sooner before he lost all his friends and his love. I look forward to more of this story but I am really looking forward to updates on all the big stories on this website. Thanks for another look at Potterverse. pms
