Of my "late period" fan fic, this is one of my favorites - see also Unexpected Horcrux and Dreams of Cold Fusion if you liked this story.

Where to even begin? I thought for sure we'd find out eventually what Ginny said to Harry, but I suspect it had something to do with 'sharing' Harry when he and Gabrielle finally met up with Ginny. If I'm wrong, I'd almost rather not know. lol
Overall, though, this story was brilliant. I am so glad for this sequel, even if I was still upset that it had to end so soon. (No! More please!)
But really, thank you for writing it, both of them! They were an utter delight to read. I'll admit, Jecounais got me officially hooked on Harry/Gabrielle as the first well-written one I'd read, but I had not been able to find anything that matched that quality until I found yours. So now you have both set wonderfully high standards for this pairing and I will waste countless hours trying to find something else of this pairing to read that will come close to satisfying me again. :( And of course, this is at least half your fault, but I hope you take that as a very high compliement as that is what it is meant by. ;)
Anyway, I loved this story, I loved how you wrote Gabrielle and Harry, how the story flowed, how you were able to write everything in so perfectly without any unnecessary smut, and how you gave them such a sweet happy ending. Thank you once again for writing this; I am very glad to have read it. I will only entreat that you at least think about writing more for this pairing, as it would be a service to the small fandom.
:)

As noted in the author comments, Jeconais and I did a lot of cross-pollination when we were writing. There's even an homage to Hope buried in the story (along with another in These Dreams). As much as I like the characters, Lost and Found was about how to tell a richly featured story within the confines of smaller chapters. It's one of my favorites as well, and if I ever do return to play, you can expect I'll return here. I had sketched out some stories involving Matzalen, but never committed any time to them.
Thanks for reading, thanks for your kind words.

This was a fun romp. There's more I could say, but I'm zonked with meds for my bronchitis. Thanks again, for posting.

I found Jacques Fuso attitude disturbing,I could understand that he want Gabrielle off the case but asking that Gabrielle kick out of the city is another. It leave me to wonder if he hate Gabrielle, or he just hate her race.

This is a delightful story. But Fuso should have been dealt with properly. I half expected him to show up at the wedding to exact revenge and die a bloody death. Probably better that he didn't.
Kokopelli replied:
Fuso was killed by some of Unai's people. It wasn't pretty.

Fuso betrayal solved a number of weaknesses in the storyline (there were a number of things I would've commented on before that point :) ) -- Bravo!. The demise of Unai was brilliant.

Good stuff as always. I wish I'd started reading your work earlier. Then again, I probably wouldn't be reading it right now if I had.

I like the Harry/Gabrielle story. I'm glad she won out. I look forward to the rest of it...

Very fun story. Truly enjoyable.
Wish there was just one more chapter, but as I need sleep, it's probably for the best that it end here, right?
You do a great HP/GD.

I love what you've done with the 'matching' idea and how they face it all. And now we are going to get to see them kick some slimy kidnapper butt! (Yeah, living in Mexico means kidnapping is a real problem. Human trafficking, drug fights, and just plain extortion of $$$. Not cool.)
