Harry's letter to Hermione was brilliant.

I've always liked the idea of Harry transfigured to howl at the moon with Remus to mourn Sirius together.

I love that last little exchange between Hermione and her mom, sounds a lot like me and my mom. This comparison is aided a lot by my boyfriend being a lot like Ron. I especially like the line about her having to tell Harry what he's feeling. Loved the way you wrote the funeral as a letter instead of in normal format. It probably would have ended up slow if you'd done it the other way.

A great chapter. I really like Hermione talking so frankly with her mother. That is refreshing. I thought it was great that Remus and Harry got to spend his transformation together. That is cool. I'm glad that Harry is starting to deal with Sirius death. That is a biggie. I really like the way you are handling this. I look forward to reading the "rest of the story"!
