Quit a touching scene.
Canon as of yet has done little backfilling of the Lily/James story. I'm not sure I want it to.
This chapter does a fine job of speculating on the matter in context with your work here.
Fine work.

Much of Harry Potter fanfiction uses canon magic and modifies it for specific use.
This chapter is one of the finest in the genre developing wholely new major chunks of magic that only vagely refers to canon magic.
It sets a standard for how well developed such new magic should be.
Just excellent in all ways.

That was a very touching moment when McGonagall and Harry discussed the DA.
This is such a fine tale.

There is so much in this chapter. The basis for wandless magic is very well explained.
Great stuff.

The actions to make Harry aware that Ginny is available are laughingly hysterical.

Reading this intro to Abelard brings out great anticipation in me.
Can't wait.

In romantic Harry Potter fanfics, this is one of my all time favorite chapters.

Harry's letter to Hermione was brilliant.
I've always liked the idea of Harry transfigured to howl at the moon with Remus to mourn Sirius together.
Just an excellent notion.

Well designed conversation betweeen Harry and Dudley - what a pig and so in character.

Yes, it had been a very fine day, and you wrote it in a very fine manner.
Writing battles is one thing, writing life is another.
Well done.

Excellent letter to Monica Granger from Harry.
Post-OotP fics tend to be either quick to reconcile Harry and Dumbledore or volatile in their relationship. I have problems with both, but your reconciliation is one of the best I read of the quicker ones. JKR's was not satisfying; your was.
Fun, fun!

Not that many tales give us an indication of Ginny's intelligence. I always prefer her to be right smart, so Harry isn't 'settling' in the brains department foregoing Hermione to Ron. (Talk about intellectual incompatibility in canon.)
The passbox concept is brilliant.

It's been over a year and a half since I last read this tale. I decided it would make a great refresher before I start with your more recent work, and refamiliarize myself with your style.
Just a few chapters here and there for summer fun.
Great start.

Actually, in a previous chapter, the one where Harry wrote Ginny "The Big One" he said that he noticed that it was the twins that wrote teh valentine rather than Ginny... I think it was in the 20s, but don't quote me on that

Just another small Britpick Point...
We call ATMs Cashpoints. In fact, if you have a card for that specific purpose, rather than paying for stuff as well, then they will have a little strip accross the side you put in first, that says "Cashpoint" on it....

Very well done. Had me guessing what was coming up next many times.
