I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed reading a story that was respectful and thoughtful concerning matters of faith.

You write well, and I look forward to reading more of your work - starting tomorrow!.

For now, good job and keep writing!

Thanks - I enjoyed writing this little story - it kept me off the streets for a couple of years. The Harry-as-churchman wasn't everyone's cup of tea, having garnered a few bucketfuls of hate mail, but I stand by my story.

Thanks for your kind words.

Just as a matter of interest, not that I have any qualms with it at all, merely curiosity...
Why are you using the Narnian addressing of humans for the Snow Dragons?

I always thought that The Sword Of Damocles (spelling?!?) was around the size of a Bastard Sword...?

RE: Babysitting/Childmindin AN.

Actually, both terms are used in the UK, although the inference is usually a little different. A babysitter can be anyone who looks after a child for a few hours during the evenings or the occasional all-nighter. Whereas a childminder is always an adult and looks after a few kids during the day. As a general rule, these children are younger (pre-kindergarten age (which in the uk is 4/5) and don't attend playschool (preschool), but during the holidays, the children a minder will take can be any age. If you've ever seen the film Daddy Daycare with Eddie Murphey, the scheme he had going before he got his papers would have been the set-up for a child minder, although with about half the kids and on his own.

Is Dumbledore Jewish? That's what the prayer sounded like to me.

I got som'att ter say ter ya...Would Mr Rogers wear a jumper in his estate? His shoes are loafers here, what are loafers to the Brits? layabouts? bums? ski row sleepers? Enough about that..Great Story! Don't let the muggles get yer down

Wow! This is one of the best, and most original fan-fics I have ever read!!

Wooster posted a comment on Monday 26th December 2005 12:59pm

fantastic. incredible. i have to clean. crud. i was going to start stories from sixth year and ran out of time. *grumbles irritatedly*

oh well, i'll just have to settle with starting after my chores...or tomorrow. whichever comes first. hopefully the first...cause if i'm not done with my chores tonight when i had all day to do them my mom will do something similar to what ginny did to draco...which was brilliant by the way. i'm assuming the 'bogey' things were the result of a bat bogey hex?

Wait...what??? OMG!!! DRAGONS! MARKING! EEK! COOL!

Ok, on less pressing matters... first off: as a Trivial Pursuit addict I REALLY want the 'magic' version. That sounds like so much fun. Secondly: I got an mp3 player for Christmas and have, so far, downloaded 40 songs. They are an odd bunch, ranging from big band to eighties hard rock. And for some reason, even though they were playing randomly in my headphones as i read this...EVERY SONG FIT PERFECTLY WITH WHAT I WAS READING!!!

This was fantastic. Hope you had a happy holiday. I'm going to read the next chappie!

Wow, great chapter. I loved all the presents Harry gave out, they were so insightful. Thanks for the warning at the beginning. If I'd been eating popcorn as I'd planned while reading that line about Mrs. Weasley's breasts...well, I'd be too dead to be reviewing.

I also really loved the thing about Ron having to beat Hermione's dad at table tennis before getting permission to ask her out. Where'd that idea come from?

Wooster posted a comment on Friday 23rd December 2005 12:43pm

Ah, so that's what it is. Interesting...

Great stuff with the magical signatures, (heehee, more H/G fuel) I feel really sorry for Harry. People really won't stop prying into the poor guy's love life. Sheesh, how embarassing.

Lovely final letter this chapter. It was exactly what needed to be said to Cho, very good.
